In this gallery are examples of past commissions. By building furniture on commission I am able to bring the customer into the design process which gives them the highest quality work built to their specifications. With my assistance, design and functional elements are discussed and decided upon. Starting with the finest selected material, I build each piece by hand using traditional joinery methods. Each piece is also finished by hand using a hand rubbed oil/varnish mix.

These photos demonstrate the variety of my work. My training in 18th Century furniture has given me the skill and experience to create furniture incorporating carving, veneering, turning, and complex shapes. From simple to ornate, I make sure each piece is built to the highest standards. While I do make furniture in a variety of different styles, I specialize in Colonial West Indian reproductions. The truly unique designs that came from the Caribbean in the 18th and 19th Centuries are fascinating to me.

I would be more than happy to discuss any custom or reproduction furniture project you are considering. I can help with selecting the design, creating the working drawings, and construction. I am always available to answer questions so please contact me regarding any of your woodworking needs.
